hi, i own a moped 50cc. In April i got caught speeding and had to pay a £60 fine and 3 points went on my license. (yes speeding on a 50cc moped is possible!) haha.
i want to know if the points will affect the price of my insurance, i still have a years no claims. if it will affect the cost, will it be by much?
thanks
first, you should collect some resource by searching the relevant keyword in search engine,if you got good luck there ,then your problem solved.however,if you are not able to find the ideal answer by doing that, here http://www.insuranceidea.info/free-insurance.htm is the resource i recommend.
Yes, It depends on how many points you have. I have two points and they will stay on for two years and four points will stay on for four years. Your insurance rates will increase for the time in which your points remain on your license. I don’t know by how much but you can call your insurance company and ask. I’m in America and the laws are different here from the laws in England.
yup
It depends on whether you have to fill out paperwork declaring things like that. My insurance is automatically renewed each year, and things like speeding fines have no effect.
