Why my E200 razor scooter isn't working?
A week ago.On my third time using the electric scooter.I was having a good time riding it zooming all over the place with it.So by the time I got home the battery was low.And it was going very slow.That’s how I knew the battery was low.
So I kept going but it stopped,and made this weird hitting noise.And I heard it go scooblush.Then I started hearing nothing but the motor noise.I reckon that mean’t the battery died.So I looked at the battery,when I touched it,it was very hot.So I took my electric scooter and put it on charge.And I made sure the button was off.So it can charge properly.
So today I took it out for riding.And put the on button.It was still making the motor noise.And it wasn’t going.So I took a look at it.I found out the back chain was loose.And I don’t know how to put it back on.First I thought the electric scooter broke on my third time.Until I took a look at it.So I tried to put the chain back on the gear.But it still won’t get back on.Or maybe that’s not the problem?Im not really sure.But my high possibilty is,it’s the chain!Because I may don’t know much about electric scooters.But I know that the chain pushes the electric scooter when u turn the go button.
But then again.Im not really sure it’s the chain,but it’s worth a try.How can I put the chain back in gear?Plz tell me step by step.Because I don’t wanna tell my parents we must take it to the shop.Because then they will get mad at me and there is a high chance they won’t take it to the shop.I also didn’t tell my parents I had this problem.Because the last time I ride it was the third day riding my electric scooter was fine.
So plz tell me how to put the chain back in the right position.Or what’s the problem?Thank you!
There should be adjuster bolts on both sides of the rear wheel. Loosen the rear axle nut, then loosen the adjuster bolts and slide the rear wheel up toward the front until the chain has enough slack to put it back over the sprocket.After you get it on, tighten the adjuster bolts (look for marks so both sides are adjusted evenly) and NOT TOO TIGHT, leave some slack in the chain, too tight, and it will ruin the chain and sprockets. Then tighten up the axle nut.
