maybe the roads r 2 narrow
I really don’t know stingjam..it seems they are convinced they wont be able to keep up with the fast bikes in case they have to chase them.
Its not just the speed though the larger cc bikes can accelerate faster without reaching top speed (0-60 in…) so i guess they are afraid of that too..
I do not know much about any correlation between bikes and crimes in Jamaica, if there is any. What I know for sure that Jamaicans are very fund of bikes. I would need to do more research on this topic before I make any suggestion. One thing I know for sure is that the government of Jamaica needs to focus on the fundamental reason that creates an appetite for so much criminal activities. This is LACK OF EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE, (more universities and colleges and all Jamaican having access) the prospect of good job. The corrupted mentality of the people and politicians (initiate a more honest and respectful environment) and the influence from America which cause relative deprivation among Jamaicans. These are issues that need to be address by the government and less focus on frivolous notions such as the size of bikes on the roads.
