Your choice, but you will not save money by having a motorcycle instead of a car. Two tires for my motorcycle cost more than twice as much as four for my car. Bike tires = 10,000 miles max. life, car tires = 50,000 miles min. life.
More frequent oil changes.
My favorite: bad weather.
Don’t forget that your initial investment is more than just a bike. You need something to wear, too. Insurance may be higher….
Don’t want to be a biker? Don’t buy a bike.
Dependable bikes aren’t really cheap either. Gas is easy but the tire life and price almost negates that. You say you don’t want to be a biker? Why buy a bike? We ride because it is fun and a way of life. We know the risks every time we mount our rides and we accept the odds. That is the biker life.
