Might want to start with more youth oriented bikes and get experience that way, maybe in 10 or 20 years you could move on to something like a Harley dealership. Those old geezers aren’t going to take a 19 yr old very seriously. WELL, unless you think the area dealership sells a lot of sportys and Buells. Go talk to the area dealership owners or sales managers. Right now I’d say the experienced salesmen are starving.
Someone’s going to say that I am only hating on HD, which I do but look at the facts here, HD’s sales are way down and will most likely continue to stay down for some time to come. The reasons are plentiful, they will no longer be able to finance to sub prime borrowers as they did in the past and were severely burnt on recently, almost dragging the entire company down. Their core consumers are aging themselves out of the market and without new technology their product line is aging as well. Their competition is making twice the bike for less cost. Even the made in America has withered away to assembled in the USA. Add all of these points up and you may just wish to find a better career because the future is far from bright.
