I choose to drive a motorized scooter instead of a car because I save a lot of money, clearly. Is that reason enough to not give me a job? My job doesn’t require me to transport many items other than myself and in no way would it interfere with my work.

i want a motorcycle..?

ok so, my parents just cut my car insurance n i wanna be able to support myself, so with my job a car is out of the question for a while.. i thought about it n realized that a motorcycle is not only much cheaper than a car, but i wont pay so much for gas and insurance is cheap too, so i decided that i should get a motorcycle, not just because i want one cus its cool but cus its honestly the most convenient thing right now. im 19 years old and the closest ive came to riding a motorcycle is riding a bike lmao.. meaning i have no experience.. so, finally, my question is: wat should i look into? n please consider my situation too, dont give me the fastest, hardest one to handle out there
oo n ive just heard from people that insurance is cheaper, but maybe im wrong.. is it really cheaper or more expensive?

Some say that the Ninja 250 is cheap?

It’s ,500 +taxes.

I can buy a car with that, a descent car, should I get the motorcycle instead?

Please, help me on this.

I’m 17 and a new rider I have ,000 and a job to pay for it. I will only have to get the liability insurance only and it’s the cheapest insurance there is.

Plus, I can get my parents to put me on their insurance and I have good grades.
I will only have insurance for 6 months only not a year.

I will only ride to school and to work only.

Is the Ninja 250 worth it? ,500 for the 2008 model.
Please explain.

With a struggling econemy and a state that gets cold in the winter. Assuming I do decent at the job, about how much can I expect to bring in?

Mt grandmother is in an assisted living in Zeeland, Michigan and she has had problems with her walking for years. She has been depending on a walker, but she has gotten to the point where the walker won’t help. She tires really easily and it is a job just getting to the dining room. The assisted living has moved her to "level 2" care which means that they are keeping detailed notes on her and making a case for her to be moved to a full fledged nursing home. She is a little nervous about the idea of an electric wheelchair, so I thought that if we could take her someplace to test drive one, she might get excited about regaining some of her independence. Any ideas?

how does an electric wheelchair work?

Well my grandmother in Vietnam is becoming really ill and cannot walk herself to places such as the bathroom, so I was wondering in sending an electric wheelchair over there. I don’t think that my uncle would want to carry her every single time she need to use the toilet so this should do the job. How do you charge it. Is is like a battery that you can just plug into the wall and charge it?

Is it wrong to hide money from hubby?

My hubby is a spendaholic! He has a lot of hobbies (mini-bikes, scooters, snowmobiles, go-karts, etc) that he spends a lot of money on. But even aside from his hobbies, he likes to spend for the pure joy of spending. He makes about 00 every 2 weeks. We SHOULD be living rather well for our taste (not quite high class, but upper/middle class).. yet we are living paycheck to paycheck and most of the time run out well before the next payday. I’ve started taking his change or whatever money is left in his pockets from the days spending and storing it away. I figure if I do this often enough, and to the point where he wont catch on to the change being gone.. I could get a nice little "nest egg" started. Im not saying I dont want him to notice me taking the money because I think he would be mad, because he wouldnt be.. I dont want him to notice because if he KNEW about the money thats set aside, he would want to spend it the SECOND he ran out of money!

Whatdaya think? Is it wrong? In one aspect I feel like Im stealing from him and hiding things from him and its so so wrong. But on the other hand I feel like if he’s not able to save on his own, I’ll do it for him. And when the day comes that we are in desperate need of money, he’ll be happy to find out, I’ve been saving.

Is there another way to go about it though? I’ve tried talking to him about his spending and tried to get him to save and he just CANT! Money burns a hole in his pocket before it even gets in there! lol It’s also not a possibility for me to get a job and save MY checks because we have 3 kids.

Tips, advice, help….

Transporting my stuff to new place in NYC?

I have a place and I’ve got a job. Now I need to move there. I’ve got three medium-size boxes of stuff, a tiny suitcase of makeup, hair, soap and girly-keep-clean stuff, my scooter, and my PC. How do I get all this stuff safe and intact from New Mexico to Brooklyn? And for cheap?
Thank you, soon to be fellow New Yorker! I’ll be there next week; wanna drink?

I havn’t used my 125 cc scooter for about a month and so the 12v battery doesn’t have enough juice to start it.
I’ve just bought a 300mA trickle charger, how long will it take to charge it?
I know the trickle chargers are designed to top-up, but it was cheap!, surely if used for long enough (8 hours+) it will do the job!?
PS. my scooter uses regular petrol, it’s not electric!
Cheers

I’ve never driven a moped or a scooter, and I don’t really know anyone who can help me out. I’m thinking about going away for the summer and investing in a cheap mode of transportation that can get me to my job and home.

But I know little about scooters and mopeds. I’m not sure what a decent, cheap price is for one (used), and what I should be checking for when looking for them used. I’m pretty ignorant. I don’t even know the difference between a moped and a scooter, if they’re road legal, or if you need a permit/liscence to drive them…

It was very late, very few customers. No one parked in the handicap spots, and there were 10 or so scooters not being used. My friend and I both took one to the toy department and picked up toy swords, and bike helmets.

We talked to Dave in electronics and asked if it would be ok if we jousted each other. Dave said that was fine, and he would keep score. So my friend and I headed to the opposite ends of the store on our "horses" and we rev’d up and approached each other. We collided several times, and were all tied up in the 6th round.

Right before we collided for the 7th time, Dave’s manager came in between us, and started screaming at us and Dave. Dave was fired on the spot, and my friend and I were kicked out of the store.

Is there any way we can get Dave his job back? He’s a really cool guy. He’s 45 and his mom lets him live with her for free. She even buys his beer and video games.

Anyways, is there a way to get this great American his job back? Also, can my friend and I sue for harrassment?
Dave turned himself in. Hes a standup kinda guy. A true hero.
