I’m not looking for an electric bike, rather a rear-wheel conversion kit for a reasonably priced rear wheel conversion kit for a mountain bike which is available or ships to India.
I have a Ford Think Fun Electric Bike and need new batteries. Any source out there. It appears to be two Yasau 12 v motorcyle type batteries in a single case
I’m going to start eating MUCH better starting tomorrow when I go grocery shopping too. Im starting to do sit ups, push ups and more stretches at night too. We have an electric bike in our basement that I can use. I need to tone my legs so i will probably use it for at least that. Will using the bike help my love handles too? What else can a bike help?
GUYS. I appreciate the advice but the electric pedal bike doesnt do anything its ME PEDALING THE BIKE. Its the exact same as riding a real bike. Its only electric by telling how many calories i have burned etc…IT DOESNT PEDAL FOR ME!!!! That would be so STUPID! I’m not stupid or fat. I can ride my bike miles, i dance every day for and hour and fifteen minutes.
I want to buy an electric bicycle that uses SLA battery, but in the future I want to replace it with LiFePO4 battery once the SLA runs out. Is that possible? Or if you buy an electric bike now your stuck with that battery technology?
i had a 180 watt, 8 amp motor and it blew a 30 amp fuse. i ordered a 1000 watt (at 36v) (745 watt at 25v) motor. it’s rated current is 34 amps. what rated amp fuse should i use?
o and it’s for an electric bike motor. if anyone knows: could i use a resettable breaker? if so where could i get one that can run off 24 or 36 volts dc??
thanks.
This electric bike is the ezip trailz. It has two battery packs and each of them contain 2 12volt sla batteries. Can I put a bigger battery in there?
Here is the website with the details of the moped that I have got:
http://www.zjfeiyue.com/en/proinfo.asp?pl_id=1694
The company who made the electric bike is called Feiyue holding limited and I bought it from someone who imported it from China. Now you know as much about it as I do.
I need to register it. I filled out the DVLA form and went to hand it in and they said I need to get insurance on it first. They said I can use the frame number to get insurance but I cannot find a site online that has that as an option.
The main problem is it is not a common moped. Its not like a Peugeot Speedfighter which will appear on database, its made by a company called Faiyue and has no model name. I supose if it had one it would be FYEBH-1609 but the website says this is called the Art. Name. Plus I think that max speed is wrong as I think it can go faster than 22mph (35kph).
Just to be clear its electric not petrol powered.
Can anyone help me register this electric moped? Or at least insurance since thats apparently all I need now to register it?
i have an old electric bike, i took it apart and need to make a gear on the side instead of the bottom of the motor like a 90 degree gear.
Hi!
Wondering if anyone has any ideas. I have M.E pretty bad and need some form of personal transport as i can’t walk very far anymore.
I don’t have enough money to learn to drive/insure a car so have been considering either a scooter or an electric bike….or any other form of transport you can come up with!!
My budget is up to £700, and I only need to make fairly short journeys, say up to 10 miles
Ideas really welcome! Thanks!

I live about 2 miles from work, and have a bike path directly to the office. I want to get an electric bike or convert my beach cruiser to an electric bike. Thoughts on this? Suggestions?

Do you know any person who owns a electric bike?
If you’re riding an electric bike, how do you brake? If you’ve engaged the motor and you’re going along at approx 10 mph, what if you just want to slow down a bit? Do you have to kill the motor? I can’t imagine how you control speed for safety. When I’m on a regular bike, my hands are always on the brakes for any split-second slow downs….
I want to get an electric bike one day, but can’t afford it right now!
im unclear if i need a speed control for a 24 volt electric bike motor, instead of just a throttle. i want to know why i would need a speed control if i dont need the speed controlled? is it to save the battery? i have also been working on an electric golf cart and was thinking of removing the controller. is this possible? what exactly does the speed controller do?
thanks
