I’m trying to figure out something that doesn’t make sence about insuring multiple vehicles.

So I already own a car, and two motorcycles, plus I have my GF’s car on my policy for the multi car discount. I’ve shopped around LOTS, and have found the cheapest insurance I can find.

Heres the thing, I want to also buy a truck. Now I’ve called all around for quotes, but they all say the same thing. Basically my truck will cost just as much to insure as my car. Including paying full liability insurance on both vehicles.

This doesn’t make sence to me. Why do I need to pay full price for liability coverage for both of them, when obviously I can only drive one at a time? What if I were to have 4 cars? I’d have to pay full price for all of them even though I’d only be driving one at a time?

The way I see it, it shouldn’t cost any more for liability on a second or third vehicle. A little for comprehensive maybe in case one was broken into or something, but why should I pay full price for multiple vehicles I can’t possibly even use all at once.

Is there any sort of insurance company out there that does things differently? Any way I can basically just pay one reasonable price that covers whatever vehicle I decide to drive?

hi, im 19 and have 4 years clean car driving experience. i got an m1 yesterday and want to find the cheapest insurance on a suzuki sv650. i called around to a few places like statefarm but either im too young for their coverage, dont have enough years driving experience, or the rates are somewhere around 5 grand a year…which is not an option as im a college student only working 1 day a week, that and i wont be using the bike that often..
help me out guys!

I can buy a car with that, a descent car, should I get the motorcycle instead?

I’m 17 and a new rider I have ,000 and a job to pay for it. I will only have to get the liability insurance only and it’s the cheapest insurance there is.

Plus, I can get my parents to put me on their insurance and I have good grades.
I will only have insurance for 6 months only not a year.

I will only ride to school and to work only.

Is the Ninja 250 worth it? ,500 for the 2008 model.
Please explain.

I want to get my motorcycle license this summer then buy an old bike to ride for awhile till i learn enough and buy a new bike later. But i want to know how much the insurance would cost me. Im 17 and live in California. And i want to get a 1985 Kawasaki. Whats the cheapest insurance i can get? How much is it?

I’m going to be going to college in Lima, Ohio and will be driving back to michigan every couple of weeks. I have a truck that sucks gas so I am going to buy a bike. Either an 98′-05′ Yamaha YZF R6 or R1 I haven’t decided yet. I was wondering who has the cheapest insurance for what I’m doing with the bike. Basically driving it long distance and to class every so often. It will be stored in my apartment down there whenever I’m not driving it. Can anyone help me out. I know I’m a little young for any kind of cheap insurance but maybe there is a company out there that gives breaks to college students? Well anyway the main question is : From your experiences which company has the cheapest motorcycle insurance?

I know it’s probably the cheapest insurance you can ever find, but catch is you have to military, fortunately I’m leaving for USAF in less than a month. I was wondering if they insure motorcycles also.

Hi, I am 16 years old with no road or driving experience ever, I want a transportation from my house to school, and an all around commuter, I wanted a car, but I know I cant afford one due to gas and insurance. Now I am thinking of getting a motorcycle, theres alot here for sale like a 2006 GSXR600 for only ,500. Now I can afford the bike, I can pay the monthly payments if I get an after school job, but my problem is insurance, how much might be my insurance for maybe a 2006 GSXR600, I heard it is expensive because its riskier but motorcycle cause less damage, can anyone like guesstimate or estimate or just give a guess of how much will be the cheapest insurance for a 16 year old with no road experience at all here in California? thanks
Ok, lets say not a 600 super sport, what if I get a Ninja 250r or maybe a DRZ400sm, both are proven to be good begginer bikes, can I then afford the insurance?

I got with my insurance broker about the insurance cost of a car and it would average to be 187 monthly… IM 16 I WORK 2 JOBS AND I DONT HAVE THAT MUCH $$$.

What is the montly insurance for a car and motorycle on avergae… AND is there any way I can get the cheapest cheapest cheapest insurance I don’t care if I dont get coverage or not…
