My boyfriend just bought a motorcycle & I need to get a helmet but I’m not sure what kind I should get. Do you recommend a full face helmet or just a half or 3/4 face helmet? What do most people wear? He has a 2006 Honda VTX 1300. Its not a crotch rocket.

We just paid a hard earned 345.00 for it to be fixed with it’s overheating and starting problem.The overheating was fan being unhooked.But as for the starting that works once in a while & even then we have to try again n again untill sometimes it kills the battery for which we have to recharge it,the mechanic told us that it was 1)the battery being weak,2)the carb. that has to be worked on & 3)valve has to be adjusted or too tight.I hope he did those except the valve thing that I suspect he never touched that engine.Surely he changed the batt.(80.00!!!),and i took the old one with me at an auto store & were told it was still good.The scooter worked or started only 2 times properly,then needed retrying,then more waiting n starting,then back again like before dragging,killing the batt. & if we’re lucky enough,would starts later in hours maybe once…What do I do now?where do I look ? It never started like any other bike even new(now 101 miles on it).I’ll take it to the same guy but I need ur help too so he doesn’t think there are people out there checking for us what he is up to and what he is not doing right.Thank you.
my father is contained to a motorized scooter, and my cousin is getting married in Turks & Caicos, at the Beaches Resort… Does anybody have any reviews of this resort, and if it is handicap accessible and easy to get around.

Cant keep the kids out of my yard?
I always wanted to live in a neighborhood full of kids so my own kids (6 & 
always had playmates, and I always wanted to have the "fun" house that kids wanted to play at. Well, be careful what you ask for, I guess. We live right in a cul-de-sac with a lot of kids. We have an inground pool, a swingset, and the kids have the basic toys like scooters, pogo sticks, hula hoops, water balloons, sidewalk chalk, the usual. None of the other houses in the cul de sac have any of these kinds of things, it appears the other kids have virtually no toys, except our next door neighbor who has a trampoline. So the parents of all these kids just send their kids out to play and they always end up at our house (or at the trampoline) for us (or the neighbor with the trampoline)to supervise. Some of them barge into our house without knocking, they just suddenly appear in my kitchen. They stomp around with their dirty shoes. When they leave they leave the door wide open. I can tell them 100 times to knock, dont come in with dirty shoes, close the door, and they never remember the next time. Or we will be out by the pool and they appear through the sliding glass door on my deck, like they just let themselves in through the front and have been walking through my house. Some of them constantly ask for food, drinks and freeze pops. I usually hand out freeze pops and juice boxes within reason, but say no to the food. I will just walk outside and there is a kid in my garage looking through stuff grabbing toys, or a 3 year old all by herself on the swingset. If i tell the kids to go home, they ask "why"? Then they just linger. If I say we have to leave and go somewhere, they ask to stay while we are gone. Some of these kids….my own kids dont even like them or want to play with them. Their parents just send them over without asking. Even the parents will just walk into my back yard without asking to push their kid on my swings. I dont know which is worse, having these uninvited kids running all over my yard for me to supervise, or having their parents come over with them to supervise because I dont really want to talk to these parents because I am really annoyed at them. The kids I am talking about range ages 3 to 7.
My own kids would NEVER walk into someone’s house without knocking, or just appear in their yard or garage and start playing with something, or ask for food.
They only other parents that reciprocate with food/drinks/toys are the next door neighbors with the trampoline, and I have no problem if there is reciprocation, and their kids are well mannered and are welcome to my house any time they want. But how do I politely let these other parents know that I am not going to be feeding, entertaining and supervising their kids on a daily basis? I dont want to rock the boat and create a problem, but I just cant take this anymore..
Not the usual two-wheel ones. like the kind that look like motorcycles and you can ride around on streets. Do you have to have a license? How old do you have to be to ride them? and what store can i find them in? please&thanks. im fifteen btw.

Next year (2011) I am going to be flying to the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias (NFED) National Family Conference.
I am thinking about taking my Electric Power Travel Scooter (EPTS) with me to the NFED National Family Conference.
The question that I need to ask is this:
Do airline companies charge "freight fees" on Power Mobility Devices (PMDs) which will be my Electric Power Travel Scooter (EPTS)?

What does that mean?
Motorcycles,scooters & any 2 wheelers has to lean to turn,but 3 wheelers or trikes tyres tend to stay on the ground.I was wondering if I am correct on is and need feddback or correction on my thinking because our trike’s handlebar & front wheel wobbles a lot and we thought it’s the front tyre that is not as flat as the rear ones.Our front tyre is the same as any other bikes or scooters stock tyres.With a lil contact surface getting wider at the sidewall up to the rim.Don’t u think manufacturer got the wrong one for the front?
Ok, earlier today i got into an accident when i was pulling into a drive way with the sun glaring i hit a guy on a moped, i got fault, but im conserned that im not to blame, i just figured out that the guy driving the moped wasnt the owner of it, it was his friends, just baught it that day, saying they just got done putting it together… dont know why you’d buy a moped just to build it?? and it had no insurance, nor plate yet, he didnt even have any protective gear on eather, it was a black Moped Touring 150cc? what ever that is. and i think you need a special license to drive a moped above 50cc in Florida? and when i hit him he went flying pretty far, about a car length, i dont know if that helps me back up that he probably was speeding? but yeah. i have a court date soon, is there a chance id lose or win?

I’ve been visually impaired all my life but six months ago I woke up and my right leg was paralized. I have been walking with forearms crutches ever since, back in Janurary I asked my neuro doctor to right a script for a electric wheelchair, so I can learn O&M skills and become as independent as I once was. now I’ve been waiting for five months and the outfiter called us to tell us that are claim was denied due to my blindness. is that really there decision if the doctor deemed it medically nessary? I’ve been waitng for a long time and I’m ready to move on. I’m tired of the this red tape crap. I NEED a wheelchair for college. as i can’t safely travel on my own with my hands tied to crutches.
Before I go on with the incident, I had foot surgery (pin placed in my left foot) & was using crutches. So, a month ago, my 11 yr old son & I went to the store. Since I was on crutches, I used the scooter @ the store. I was using it for about 15 mins then I noticed it was very low on battery & it began to slow down. I parked it to the nearest outlet & we were walking on main asile passing the lingerie dept. when suddenly both crutches went out sideways @ the same time & I fell hard. I did not see the panty on the floor when one of the crutches landed on it causing me to fall. My left knee as well as my foot where I had surgery was hurting bad. My son had to help me up. We went up to customer service & I said I wanted to file a complaint & the lady apologized but didnt take my name. I left & went to the DR next day, the incision site was open & I had contusion on my left knee. I called the store manager & told her, she said ppl w/crutches shouldnt be shopping @ the store!
I was shocked when she made that remark. An hour later, I got a call from the Loss Prevention & I told him about the fall & said to check the survellaince camera (he did seen it) & I also told him about the manager’s comment. He said she shouldn’t have said it, it was discrimination. He asked me to come back to the store to write a report which I did & he said the head company will call me. They never did. I have medical bills (xrays & meds) & the post-op pin removal had to be delayed by one wk due to pain in foot from the fall. Shall I contact the lawyer since I havent heard from the company? What about the discrimination remark?
