I am providing group for people who want to discuss and act on weight loss. I am not a nutritionist or trained. I only have my personal experience to share & the group members theirs.
Someone has joined who sufferers from Rhumatoid arthritis. They are not able to walk, they have movement in the trunk area of thier body but painfully(moving is rarely done) & their arms have almost no movement only some in the fingers which is how the person mechanizes the electric wheelchair. The person is also set on eating a certain type of diet & browbeats people who won’t eat the way this individual does. Some people in my group left another group in order to avoid this person. Not because of disabilties but because of the browbeating and general rudeness.
The group will center around calorie counting &exercise. I want to be inclusive for this person and don’t the individual to feel left out. I hope to find some advice for her. I also don’t want the group disrupted by argumentive rudeness.
. There is a two part dicotamy to the rudeness part of this. One is person experiencing the rudeness being that you are supposed to just put up with it because they are disabled. The other is the tendency of SOME disabled people to resort to a manipulative victimization mindset when someone challenges their hardset beliefs. So in public you’d end up looking like a real slimeball for saying something.
I won’t be surprised if I get hammered on the rudeness part of this question. I have some familial experience with a person with disabilities and I don’t think you do a person a favor by allowing them to be rude and railroad people.
Remember this person’s arms are barely functional they are kind of like a person with severe cerebal palsy.

I am trying to help a friend and true american hero sell his custom 2006 harley softail POW/PIA.
He served 2 tours in Vietnam, got shot in the head twice and sprayed with agent orange. He has over 40 diagnosed illnesses.
Anyway It is safe to say he deserves the help.
I helped him create an ebay account and it is currently listed, I also listed on harleyshopper.net. Does anyone else have any ideas on exposure or anywhere else to advertise?
By the way he and his wife put over 0,000 into this bike including all the major custom work. They have reduced the price to ,500.
This bike has a room full of trophies, it has taken first price at any bike/car show.

I have three Campbell’s Dwarf hamsters. There’s Kate, a very active middle-aged female; Ollie, an active middle-aged male; and Scooter, a moderately active elderly male. All are separated.
Right now I have Ollie and Scooter in Crittertrail setups and Kate is in a large bin cage. This bin is really getting on my nerves. She doesn’t get a whole lot of fresh air, it’s boring for her, and it takes up a TON of room. I’m getting sick of it. I plan on throwing it out in a week or two and purchasing another Crittertrail. All I have to ask is,
If you had the following cages, how would you set them up for the hamsters? Keep in mind - one is elderly and not very active; two are active.

(The elderly one still gets around just fine, has no trouble moving or climbing tubes or anything. He’s just not as all-over-the-place as the other two are.)

I have been looking into getting a Goped–a motorized scooter/skateboard–because of rising bus & train fares. Ihave recently learned that they are now illegal on NYC streets. How and when did this occur?
The medical store called D&D has taken advantage of medicare and bill the medicare 12 times the price of the scooter. They billed medicare for a price of a scooter.

Another question. What are spark arrestors and i know that you need spark arrestors for biking parks such as hollister hills… but is it just a screen? or is it something more, because im looking to get a new exhaust tip, and it has a picture of it and it looks like there is a screen but im not sure if that is what a spark arrestor is. THANK YOU! and if anybody knows where i can get yamaha ttr 230 plastic for cheap, that would help

i want to make my mountain bike in to an electric bike .not sure what parts are needed for the electric motor & gear sprocket so that it can be road as a regular bike to if needed

yes i no the most obvious stuff .i took the parts off an electric scooter that the computer box went bad on .im just not sure about how to make the gears work with the motor yes i have the batteries its a 24 volt bat.

My mom had heart & lung failure a few years back. She had to have a tracheotomy tube put in and sleeps on a vent machine at night to assist her lungs under her body’s weight. She also has degenerative osteoarthritis. If she lost some weight she could lose the tube and probably would feel better, and would at least be able to use the lift bus service with her electric wheelchair. We don’t have a lot of money for a weight loss program & our exercise options are limited. Any ideas?
The description from the guys selling them was that they were Phanthom IV and Sola models but I can’t find a review online anywhere. He wants 0 dollars for both of them… we live about three 4-5 miles from work and we just want a way to commute back and forth in a cheap way. Are these good?

My ex’s crazy, convict brother stole a 0 gas powered scooter, and tho I’m not sure how the cops found out he did it, he brought them to MY house, and told them he gave it to me and my sons. It is COMPLETELY UNTRUE!! (This is the type of guy who robs a liquor store from someone who’s known him his entire life-real bright huh? ) His is TRULY BIZARRE!! I gave permission to the cops to search my house & property. They found no scooter, (because there was never one here! grrrr!) but they did accuse and harrass me!! Can I press charges against this nut case for implicating me in this?? It is Sooooo NOT TRUE!!
The nut even went to my boyfriend’s job and told him I was going to jail one way or the other today!! (He’s out on bail) I think in his drunken mind, he thinks he REALLY DID give it to us, when actually, I think he gave it to one of his other "EX" sister in laws, and just can’t remember which one of us it was. My bf told him he was out of his mind and to get the hell out of there, but I’m really starting to worry about this guy. He’s been IN prison more than he’s ever been out, and he’s the type of guy who spits in his girlfriend’s FACE and hits her in the head with hammers. I’m tellin ya, he’s a PSYCHO!! So not only have the cops TOTALLY freaked me out, (I thought they were supposed to be the GOOD guys) but now this lunatic is running around town thinking it’s MY FAULT he’s going to jail, instead of accepting responsibility for being a theif and a liar. (Not to mention, a completely DERANGED lunatic!) It’s scary!
Like a desperate Mom at xmas time, I purchased my son’s ONE wish, a gas powered scooter, from the internet. Needless to say, it lasted about 2 weeks before it needed replacement parts, and the company does not return calls or emails. I tried the manufacturer, but they have NO idea what I need, which I took straight from the parts list that came from the scooter! Needless to say i’m more than frustrated and have searched endlessly for these parts on line. The scooter is made in China and is a NS46 49cc Gas scooter. The parts required are:
2 Axes sockets (#39 & #50 on the parts list)
Adjusting Breech Block (#49 on the parts list)
Axle Tree (# 43 on the parts list)
Please, please if anbody can help me find these parts or substitutes for them i’d be forever grateful.

I know that scooters, and "motorized bikes" require an M2 license in California. My question is, how many people actually get this license, and what are the chances that I’m really ever going to need it when I’m riding a bike? Would a cop really give me a ticket? Would he even know what it is? I read 1 story where a guy got pulled over on a moped and was told to wear a helmet, and that was it.
I have friends who have mopeds/scooters and don’t have licenses and have been driving them for years with no problems.
Do you think I should go through the hassle of getting a license? I want to use it to ride to the beach & other local spots on an off-road bike trails and bike lanes. I know the answer is,yes, to be safe, but how many of you would actually get one?
