When & where is the best place to buy a used Suzuki GSX-R 1000?

I want to buy a used 2005 Suzuki GSX-R 1000. I live in Madison, Wisconsin and will travel almost anywhere in this state as well as Illinois to get a good deal. I don’t want to pay more than 7,500. Also, what time of the year is the best time to get a good deal on a motorcycle?
