Question about a 200cc dirt bike?
Ive been kind of leaning towards of buying a new dirt bike DB-07A(RSX-200E) to be exact. Does anyone know what the gas milage would be on a 200cc dirt bike and can it be lisenced. My main intended purposes for it is to cruise around town and pit stops at the grocery store and to the bank. I only live about 6 or 7 miles from town. How durable would they be for this purpose and would they be more durable than a motor scooter?
I ain’t got no idea on them dirt bikes except scooters. But for those simple use of yours it cannot make less than 55/gallons since they got no weight as in gloves compartment or much body panels, heavy wheels or frame as in scooters.Durability wise, they can easily outlast the last scooter on earth since ur intended purpose is cruising. But your back problems won’t let u enjoy it that far.
About 100mpg. A dirt bike is better on rough roads or potholes, but it’s geared to low for riding 6 or 7 miles. Your dealer can up-gear it by changing sprockets. A scooter is OK, but go for a "big wheel" scooter for commuting because of the potholes again. You might prefer a road or sport bike instead of a dirt bike.
Im not sure about this bike but a yamaha ttr 230 or wr250 are great for riding around town and can be licensed.I see a guy riding his wr250 almost everyday. You can also register a yamaha banshee (fourwheeler) in the us never saw one but found some on ebay one was in georgia
