Here in the states, you need to be 16.

you have to be 16 you need a provisional license which you can apply for when you are 15 and 9 months and to do a cbt which you can do when you are 16 you need insurance and a bike which is taxed and mot’d i did mine just over a year ago and the cbt really helps with road confidence and its quite easy to pass
Hello
First you apply for your Group P Moped Licence
Minimum age 16 (All others minimum 17)
You can apply for it up to 3 months before your birthday
It should take about 3 weeks to arrive.
You need the drivers licence number to book your Motor Bike based Theory test. This when passed will cover you for all Motor Bike Groups. (Not Car) And has no expiry date apart from when you are 70.
You need the Theory test pass certificate number before you can book the Compulsory Basic Training course.
You cannot drive on the public highway until you pass the CBT.
I believe the latest is that you cannot get insurance without the CBT Pass Certificate number now.
The Moped does not require tax until it is 3 years old
And Yes you require insurance before you can ride on the highway.

Hi,
Sorry you have to be 16 have a license and a cbt as most of the other answers show you…
HOWEVER
there is one bit of light at the end of your tunnel.
At 14 in the UK you can ride an electrically propelled bicycle capable of 14 mph. you do not need a license though insurance would be advisable.
I do not mean an electric scooter or an electric skateboard but a proper electrically propelled bike. THEY MUST HAVE PEDALS
there are some good ones out there and some real bargains to be had
look at F2 motorcycles for their offers
