Someday, someone may judge you by your appearance and their own insignificant opinion.
I hope they are kinder to you than you are to total strangers who are none of your concern.
I hope you become a pretty person on the inside, because being skinny does not make you beautiful or the judge of others.
I’m with you, there are A LOT of people who could get out of those things and walk like the rest of us. And don’t get me started on handicapped parking, most of the people with the permits or license plates parking in those spots must be MENTALLY handicapped, if anything, the way they drive. Every time I’m at WalMart, there’s at least one car backing out of a handicapped spot without looking, nearly running someone over. So yeah, not much sympathy here!
I think we all have certain traits about us that many people can jump to conclusions about or make judgments because of. I certainly hope someone extends grace to you when your insecurities are exposed.
Ok I’m all for helping people with thyroid problems and such. But I freaking hate the people that are just plain fat. The rest of us work hard to stay in shape and they cart their fat asses around and complain about not getting the same rights.
Tune into FitTV butthead.
i say u have the right to be a gluten until it inhibits the lives of others. I know a person who needed handicap parking because of 2 deformities, one in both legs and the other in his heart, making walking quite difficult. whenever I went anywhere with him, there was a good chance that spaces wouldn’t be available. And why? Because too many grossly obese people used the spots. I don’t want to dis on obese people…I’m chunky and I’ll admit that. But my weight doesn’t interfere with other people. It’s a sad thing really. They’re so heavy that they have joint and other physical problems so they can’t walk; however, walking is one way to lose the weight causing the physical aliments that they have. I find that ironic.
I work in Healthcare, and it is true alot of the obese people in "scooters’ do have health problems and can’t walk for long periods of time. Some of the people using "scooters" are lazy, but not all overweight people are lazy and lack self control. I notice in the parking lot at the store, usually it is the skinny people who don’t put the carts away, they just leave them setting in the parking lot were they unpacked them. The skinny people who complain about people in handicapped parking, are usually the ones who ILLEGALLY park in those handicapped spots that you accuse "fatties" of taking.
My Grandmother (she’s dead now) was an obese woman. She had trouble with her ankles and knees, she couldn’t walk far when we went shopping, because of the pain. She was NOT Lazy, she DID NOT lack self control. She was the hardest working, cleanest, go-getting-est woman you ever want to meet. She tried to loose weight, but couldn’t. She would actually eat nothing but coffee and a few crackers for days, and still couldn’t lose weight. She also had more love for people and life, than you ever thought about!!
You have no right talking about "fatties" and what they are or are not doing. Worry about your self and your hateful thoughts and words. Remember – what goes around comes around, and your not being a nice person.
. Hey, lets see u weight 350 pounds and wheel urself up a hill at age 70. U think the people in the wheelchairs wish they had to be in them for the rest of their lives? I really hate people like you who take walking for granted. Many do have health issues and cant control their weight. Its called diabetes, and ts terrible. It can ruin ur eye sight, ur walking ability, cause mood swings, everything. If u judge fatties, keep this in mind. Every person who reads ur post is now judging u. How hateful and mean a person u must be to wine and complain about others physical fitness. But juust keep these words in minds as well
1. Little Jimmy Dickens-May the bird of Paradise fly up your nose
2. Fred Sanford- YOU BIG DUMMY
If anything, these people need to park the furthest away from the stores and walk the distance to the front door instead of taking up the real handicapped spots.
go to anger management classes= and see a therapist, they are free to skinny people.xx
I am overweight, and I am in an electric wheelchair (not a scooter). These two things have nothing to do with one another. Two and a half years ago I weighed a little less than I do now. I was trying to lose weight and was training for a mini triathlon. I swam, walked/ran, and cycled a few times per week. One day I swam a mile nonstop, and the next week I was on a cane. Two months later I was on a walker, and about a year later the wheelchair. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. My physical therapist is impressed with what ability I do have in my balance because of the large brain lesions I have in my cerebellum. We attribute this to my years of dancing when I was younger. You shouldn’t judge people by their size and jump to conclusions as to that being the reason they are in a wheelchair. Also, some people were normal-sized and then developed a medical condition that confined them to a wheelchair and THEN they gained weight from the resulting inactivity. Don’t judge others until you have walked in their shoes (so to speak.) I agree with bouncybaby. Many of you have some severe anger issues. I feel bad for you!
