Are mobility scooters allowed on the public highway in the UK?
I thought they were not allowed as there not taxed and insured?
the ones I have seen have no flashing beacons, owners dogs sit on them and people drink alcohol driving them all this must be illegal
certain ones of them are allowed and some are not.
Yes if they are registered and comply with the lighting regulations. The maximum speed for a mobility scooter using a public footpath is 4 mph any faster and they must only be used on a public highway.
