I dont have my motorcycle licence and im 17 years old.
I will get my first written (m1) licence soon.

the bike is cheap but im woried about insurance.
For motorcycle insurance do you pay it for all 12 months? I will only be riding it in the summer time anyways so do companies allow you to only pay for 3-4 months?

I don’t want to buy a bike and only have scooter power.

Like who designs, who fixes, who builds a kick scooter? Is there anything else in the career field that involves in kick scooters?

I agreed to give my ex boyfriend another chance and we have been talking and saw each other twice. My terms for becoming exclusive again included things like get a job, get a licence, end poor friendships, and begin lowering his methadone dose to quit. I went to see him the first time because he convinced me to visit and see he’s living better ie: shave, clean room, new motorized scooter. The visit turned into a date watching a movie with his arm around me. The second time I went to see him was because he said he had a card for me, and he did. The visit ended with a short hot kiss. One of things he’d been doing to prove he was serious about us was ending contact with other girls.
He got mad during a conversation when I said I had no plans to take down my dating site profile, although had no one of interest on there, at least as of yet. Because I didn’t agree to take it down and become serious at repairing damage to our relationship (mainly telling my parents and accepting him for who he is) and consider us exclusive, he decided he no longer wanted to get us back.
He reclaimed contact with the other women and threatened to call the cops if I harass him, and may only contact him if I’m ready to be together according to his terms.
The other girls are the same girls I’ve been competing with since the begining. He calls one girl who he told was hot and asked out a "friend" and another who he’s been planning to move to and marry, "stupid."

Just so there is no confusion, I am talking about the scooters that look like skateboards with handlebars. Even though, they may be illegal for sidewalk use, I am thinking you probably wouldn’t get stopped as long as you have a manual one or an electric one that doesn’t make noise (like the ones with gas motors). I asked a cop and he just said he wouldn’t care, but he never said it was legal. I think he was just trying to say he has better things to do that stop someone on a kick scooter on the sidewalk even though I am guessing if he wanted to stop someone he could. I want to use one to commute to the grocery store, entertainment venues, restaurants, etc.. I live in an area where we have ample sidewalks, so I can take a sidewalk to almost any place I want to go. Please tell me about any experience you had riding your stand-up/kick scooter or skateboard or any non-bicyle wheeled device on the sidewalk? Were you stopped by cops? Did pedestrians give you dirty looks? How did people react to you?

How can i hook up the air tank/hose to drive either a 12volt car alternator or a small household appliance 110volt? What can be hooked up between the driven motor and the scooter battery system?
My problem is that I want to buy an electric scooter, but i have no outlets in the parking garage of the condo complex where i live, and there’s no sunlight to consider a solar panel. My thought is that the compressed air could drive a belt of a car’s 12volt alternator,which could then be plugged into by an inverter, which can be plugged into by the charger that comes with the scooter. So, summary, scooter’s 110v charger adapter plugs into inverter. Inverter hooked onto alternator. Alternator belt driven by some type of crank and piston assembly, which is driver by compressed air; similar to steam engine driving a piston. Or, consider a 110volt motor from a household blender being driven by a belt from the compressed air via a crank and piston; then that motor hooked onto a charge controller, which is plugged with the scooter’s charger. ??

My bike is a BMX or racing bike. I already have an electric motor (the kind you put in those mini Jeeps for kids) what else do I need, how do I make it legal in Louisiana, and please give me some blueprints or instructions on how to build it. I might be able to use a car motor but before you give me directions on how motorize it with a gas motor please show me how to motorize it with an electric motor.

I’m looking at buying a 50 cc scooter. They people seem like they are definitely trying to upsale. THey don’t seem to want to sale their cheapest scooter. they are saying it will only last a year. are they just trying to make more money or will buying a taiwanese scooter instead of chinese really give me 4 more years

its second hand a does’nt come with any extras what do i need to get the best preformance from the exhaust and what gasket would you reccomend, what size rollers would be best. my scooter is un=modified apart from derestricted

My dad has Geico insurance for 3 cars in my family and I just got a moped. I need insurance for it! We tried requesting for a new quote but thats only for a car.. I live in NJ if that matters.

I tried the quote for motorcycle insurance and my quote did not qualify for some reason. (Nothing wrong, no accidents, etc.)
