I have PTSD and my therapist says I cant drive because of it and im tired of depending on other ppl to take me places and do things so i want to get a moped I’m looking at two things one is 50 CC and the other is 150 CC that i want to get but dont really understand CA driving law. If i need a driver lic to drive them on the street can i still use them on the sidewalk?

Im interested in buying a scooter because i have heard you dont need a license or insurance to drive one.
I need a way to get to work easier (right now i take the bus) and i cant afford any kind of insurance right now. I dont have a car and i dont have a drivers license.
Plus from what i have seen scooters are way cheaper then cars.
why dont you need a license for a scooter and what is the difference between a scooter and a moped? I think i read you DO need a license for a moped but not a scooter.
My state is kentucky btw.
Home damaged, caused by 2002 Rodeo/Chediski fire. Have NO adequate electric power or running water for over 3 yrs…. FEMA lied to them for 2 yrs. telling them they would help them and get others to help them also…. Home received ,000 in damages…. They received from Dept of Emergency Management ,726 and told that was ALL they were going to get…. SBA, HUD, Red Cross, DOA and many others walked away from them without giving them any assistance whatsoever, even though they are eligible for help… . Told them they were TOO POOR to obtain any Grants or Loans to repair their home. (income was 0 /mo.) All they have tried to do is get home restored for their basic needs… Roof leaks, damaged moldy ceilings, walls (mold) repaired and floors restored…. Wheelchair ramps needed, decks and steps removed need replaced, now very unsafe, falls are frequent….. Main PROBLEM is they Lost their Solar/Wind electric power system and generators…. NO running water without power…. NO working heat or A/C
(AZ) Disabled they are in extra pain by current situation and forced to try to exist in a disabled Home… Their meager Soc.Sec. income raise(lowered their food stamp payment at first of year) money has not been enough to make necessary repairs and try to survive also…. Mainly because all money left after propane, gasoline and food has had to be used to try to keep a 32 year old car running (which it is NOT at the moment)…..
Tried Oprah several times, they keep deleting Help pleas off her Bulletin Boards. Guess subject is NOT what they want others to see? Many other sites visited (Reba, Habitat for Humanity, Gov., Extreme Makeover, etc.) NO caring found from anyone….. They thought they had insurance coverage but when they tried to place a claim with AARP’s insurance Co. they reneged, they got nothing said they weren‘t covered. All agencies and others tell them to contact Local assistance, there is NONE. Budget cuts destroyed virtually all possible
assistance to them & others.
I’m thinking of buying a vespa but i’m confused on whether i should get the one that goes 39 mph or the one that goes 69 mph. For the faster one you need to get it registered…for the slower one you do not. However you cant take the slower one on the highway. I plan on getting a car, but thought it would be fun to take the vespa to the beach…for that you have to get on the highway. anyone have experience with either one?
I have a GT 15mph motor scooter. Its not a wheelchair thing. Me and my friends just play around on it. I was wondering if it is possible to put a bigger motor or battery on it. I want to make it go faster and last longer. This is my scooter http://urbanscooters.com/P/Electric-Scooters/GT/GT-750.html
Hey,
I recently got a DUI in the fine state of NJ. I was wondering if I were to purchase a scooter under 50cc, could I legally ride it a few miles to work. What about and electric scooter? I searched the DMV website and came up with nothing. Any help would be great, thanks!

Every single week its the same games- kickball, dodgeball, scooters. Anybody have any easy fun games for kids that age? I need ideas that will attract more kids to my program. Thanks so much!!
I have a Bell GT2 full face helmet that I bought in 1987 for 5. There is nothing wrong with it except that the interior lining has dried out. All of the rubber, plastic and straps are in excellent condition. It has air vents and most of the features available in the newest helmets. It has never been in any sort of accident or impact. The paint is even in pretty good condition. I’m not cheap. I just hate to throw away something that can be used. I have additional newer helmets that match my bikes. This helmet doesn’t match so I stopped wearing it. One of my friends has asked for it to use for off road (quad) riding. I don’t want to give it to them if it’s unsafe.
I’ve been riding my 250 for over 2 year now and the power in the 250cc just isn’t cutting it for highway riding. I’m sick of the power that it lacks, so I’m wondering would I get sick of the power in the 600cc bikes? Or would a 1000cc suit me better moving up from a 250cc??
I know the company is headquartered in WI, but are enough of the parts (50% or more) manufactured inside the US, not just assembled here.
I know that there is a CF model and i was meaning both the Remedy CF and the the plain Remedy.
