Motorcycle help!!!!!
I’m planing on buying a motorcycle however I am not too familiar with insurance rates. I’m turning 20 and I wanted to see what kind of bike I would need to buy to have an affordable insurance plan and a decent looking bike.

i bought these LED lights from halfords and i fitted them into the front side lights of my ped, they fit fine as i brought the original bulbs into the shop, now less than a month there not fully working. if i take it out of the socket (with it still connected) and cup my hands around the led i can just see a blue tinge.

but no way as bright as they were at first. the light is made out of 4 small LEDs, do you think maybe some have blown ( if they can) or if something else has damaged them?

i rode on a segway today at my future city compation and it was so fun! they had like a little segway class (lame i know, but fun!) and i feel like an idot i almost crashed in to the guy i like on a segway!!! good thing it was going slow!

Mt grandmother is in an assisted living in Zeeland, Michigan and she has had problems with her walking for years. She has been depending on a walker, but she has gotten to the point where the walker won’t help. She tires really easily and it is a job just getting to the dining room. The assisted living has moved her to "level 2" care which means that they are keeping detailed notes on her and making a case for her to be moved to a full fledged nursing home. She is a little nervous about the idea of an electric wheelchair, so I thought that if we could take her someplace to test drive one, she might get excited about regaining some of her independence. Any ideas?

So my question is can I receive unemployment being that I quit for good cause? Should I quit my present job at the restraunt due to mental discrimination and reduced hours? Can I take a lawsuit against either employer? Please read what has happened it is very lengthy.

I started working at a restaurant in January 2009 part time as a host which I still am employed at. I was working on average 15-25 hours per week until the end of March 2009. In March 2009 I also picked up a second job part time as a cashier at a grocery store. After I got my other job they cut my hours back to only 2 days a week up to 8 hours for the week and only will schedule me on weekends. Both my current and past employer know that I have mental disabilities from a brain injury from birth frontal lobe damage which is the most advanced part of the brain. At first it was great working at my current job but after a few months I noticed my work environment became very hostile due to management and a few co-workers. A woman who is still employed their grabbed me around the waist and physically picked me up and moved me out of the way because I did not move out of her way fast enough. The same woman recently grabbed me by the shoulder pointed her finger at me and told me I should never interrupt her when she is talking and it is rude, she did this very loud in front of a table of customers. I was just relaying a message to her from another hostess. There are also safety issues in the work place including servers leaving there tray jacks sticking outward so customers and other employees can trip over. I had one guest almost get hurt and I myself got jabbed by one. I told the managers and upper management and nothing has been done. Every once in awhile I can’t make it in or am running a little late they tell me forget it don’t bother coming in we don’t need you. I had an instance where a co worker had to have a day off and could not find anyone to take her shift so I volunteered. Everything was great until she had to confirm it with my manager. My manager said they don’t need me to work for the co-worker because they don’t need someone for that day. But anyone that’s needs to work a double or pick up a shift is asked except me. One of the managers told me to say something about a server picking up a switched table or something in a fast tone of voice and I didn’t understand. I asked her nicely if she could repeat what she said and she turned her head the other way and ignored me. I then walked away after standing there for a minute waiting for a response. I recently went back into the office with my manager to see if I could get more hours and they said no because I am slow, am not independent and I can’t always think very fast. I think they have been trying to get me to quit and it seems like they are mentally discriminating against me as well! My other job I just recently quit. They too tried to force me to quit by making my work environment hostile and personally attacking me, not scheduling me for a couple weeks and it also made my health very bad and caused a lot of stress. These last few months I have had to see doctors and I due to physical health problems. When I started at my other job I really put a lot of time and effort in and helped a lot of my co workers out that need time off by taking shifts for them. There was an instance where I was on my way to work at the first job and I got stung by something on the way there riding a motorized scooter. My arm started to swell up really bad and I was getting dizzy. I tried working at my first job for a bit but the pain was too much to take. I was sent home on my way home I stopped at the other job that was supposed to work and showed upper management my arm, by then it was turning red and hiving up I was in tears from the pain. She then said ok go home get some rest we will cover your shift. The next day I came in and I was written up for missing the day before! There was a personal attack on me from my second job by one of my mangers and co worker because I was not able to take a shift for someone. From then on the co worker treated me very poorly and added to the hostile environment by going off at me in front of customers. One customer cared enough to get the co worker’s name. A few weeks later I got pulled in the office and was told money was missing out of my drawer and I would be put on audit. The same worker works cash office that has a personal grudge against me. I talked to upper manager and asked if she or anyone could have taken the money. I was told no. One of my managers told that co worker what we had discussed and the co worker again lashed out at me verbally. For the time I worked at my second job I was always on time for work and breaks. Except for a couple instances where I had to take public transportation. I was written up for being 2 minutes late. I was also then pulled in the office because I supposaly was late on a break by one minute another write up which is not

The last thing they did was back in November they did not schedule me for a couple weeks. I was told that was because there were no hours for those weeks. But everyone else had gotten scheduled! I checked the schedule for the following week and it said 2 days. The next day I went to check it again and it was not there anymore. I was told it was erased from the computer system and the scheduling person said they will make sure to put me on for the following week. So I thought I didn’t have to work for that week. I came in the following week to work my shift and was told I need to be written up twice and suspended because I didn’t show up for work or call. I was not aware that they put me back on the schedule in middle of the week after the schedule came out and they never informed me about it.
These write ups were all apart from each other all from my second job which again I had to quit. I went into the office told them I was putting in my 2 weeks’ notice. My manager said they supposaly didn’t want to let me go and its best that I quit rather than be fired. These two jobs combined have caused issues with family members and friends. I have had a lot of conflicts because of these two jobs. The environments are so hostile that it has made my depression much worse. Thank you for reading this.

I have asked similar questions around here and got really good answers. Someone told me to read the CA driver´s handbook and I did. But I can´t still figure out if could ride in the I-5 in San Diego County. I am thinking about buying a motorcycle (not a moped, motorbike, three wheel or scooter) with an engine 200cc or bigger in Carlsbad, CA. The handbook does not restrict decent size motorcycles from riding highways, freeways or night driving. But it does restrict from highways with signs that especifically prohibits from riding motorcycles in the Highway. So, could anyone tell me if I could ride around SD North County I-5? Maybe even all the way south to SD downtow?
I can´t answer these questions because I haven´t moved yet to CA. I have being in Carlsbad many times and I know is cool little town that is nice to ride a motorcycle.

Well I have had an urge to build an engine and I would like to put it on my scooter and it doesn’t have to be an engine it can be a rocket of some sort. Please give the easiest and cheapest way and anything that I don’t have to purchase on the internet . If it is unsafe tell me or if nothing will go on the scooter then please give me instructions for a bike and i am kind of small and way less then 120 pounds so tell me if it can throw me off

Why do they think that if they crash their moped into a tree that I should have to pay higher premiums to offset their irresponsible behavior?

I have a x18 and i want to ride with out dealing with the cops.
