I wanna get a kawasaki ninja 250r for starters and im just wondering how much insurance would be for it. I have never gotten in an accident and well my grades arent the best. 140 lbs.

I have been looking at a 1982 honda nighthawk 450 with 13k miles on it tht was in decent shape tht i could probably get it for 900$ (and i found out insurance would be 125$ a year)…..i want to broaden my search and i was wondering if there are any other bikes out there that are good beginner bikes that are cheap (not AT ALL more than 1200$)

I am interested in buying an electric bike that has 2 batteries that opperate at 12v @ 10 amp hours. They are designed to work together to deliver 24v to a 450 watt (peak) motor at the front wheel. Unfortunately these are heavy SLA batteries, and I would like to replace them with state of the art Nanophosphate Litihium Ion batteries.

Now the kicker: I can only find 36v versions for use in DeWalt power tools (though they are very energy dense).

So what I am wondering is if I can buy 2 / 4 of these and wire them to deliver no more than 36v continuous to the 24v motor and will it improve performance or just burn up the components.

Also as an added question, if it is not possible to run 36 volts directly is there a controller that could accomplish this.

I should add that the motor is DC as will be the current delivered to it.

My friend owns a 2000 SUZUKI GSXR 600 and it has 19k miles. I am thinking about buying it for my first bike but I am nervous this bike has too many miles. Is the high milealge for a bike? Should I buy it? Also what are some possible things I should watch out for. he is giving me a great deal but the amount of miles scare me. Should it?

If 50 cc or less, these vehicles are not motorcycles by driver license law definition, S. 322.01(25), F.S., so a motorcycle endorsement is not required per S. 322.03(4), F.S.; however, to operate them on streets and roadways, you must be at least 16 years old and hold at least a regular operator (Class E) or “Motorcycle Only” driver license.
According to the minnesota laws I can drive one legally with a permit but if I go to florida with my permit they won’t acknowledge it so it’s illegal for me to rent one?
