I’m turning 14 soon and i heard that they are about to change the age that you can drive to 18 so I’m thinking about getting a motor scooter because im way to lazy to bike 2 miles to the mall so what are the regulations and stuff for the state of virginia?
Turning 16 soon, and would like to get a moped, i am getting about £1000-£2000 inheritence when i turn 16 and want to get a good, fast, reliable, durable moped, any ideas please?

I just finished my education. Not surprisingly I have no money at all and unfortunately i have no car (and i dont even have a drivers license as yet). I am thinking about getting a motor scooter instead of a car. Please take the following into account
1. There is a social angle. I just joined as a junior professor. i have to present a certain image to students and senior faculty.
2. The money issue: As a starting postdoctoral faculty member, I have a pretty meagre income of K and no raises are expected in the next 3 years at least. And after 3 years, i will have to find a real professorial job…so thats a big uncertain tossup.
4. I am not sure pledging abt ,000 for a car is such a good idea with my kind of means and future. I don’t want to buy a used car, because I have a little dream about a new car…I don’t want to strangle my dream by buying an old one. Having lived as a grad student, desperate poverty, old clothes, old books, broken houses are all so familiar…I want a departure from those horrible years…i want to buy something new.
4. Considering that this would be my first car and first license ever and I am a young single male, the insurance rates are bound to be insane.
5. As such, I have considered getting a motor scooter that costs only about 00. But I have concerns about safety and professional image.
what do you say?
I am thinking about getting a motor scooter and I live out in the country so i need one that can go 50 mph easy.
Which kind of electric or gas SCOOTERS are LEGAL in canada to ride on SIDEWALKS, not roads? please if you could say the law and or link a picture to what is legal. thanx a lot!
I hope to get a large engine, but I don't know if getting one that is big enough to warrant me having to get a motorcycles license. What engine size requires this? Also, what is typical insurance? Lower, or higher than motor vehicle insurance? Also, do they last as long as cars, or less? Are tag/title costs lower than a car? or higher?
the one I'm talking about looks like a normal scooter that you see litttle kids riding but this one is power by gas,it does not have a seat you just stand on it.
My son’s scooter will go for a few steps then stop and he has to push the restart button again and then again after so many feet. We called a repair shop and they are suggesting it is a fuse. Has this happened to anyone w/an electric razor scooter?

If you know how to fix it email me.Just to let you know it comes with the white terriers present once you enter the white terrier.It is white with paw prints on it.Its not like a scooter that kids play on its the one with you can drive it and its looks like a normal scooter but it has a seat in the back of it.Again it comes with the white terrier present.

would be suitable for transporting an adult, approximately 140 lbs, around on grassy, dirt, gravel and otherwise unfinished surfaces, like at a park? I am looking at this as an alternative to expensive “mobility scooters” like the Hoveround or PowerChair you see advertised on tv. Your help is appreciated.
I am 19 years old and wanting a gas powered scooter for local commuting and riding around college. How much does insurance on one of these run? If you do not have one currently insured then don't answer because I know it is not the same as motorcycle insurance since scooters only get up to 45 mph. Thanks!
p.s. "who cares" I work for the state department full time and have the money for insurance. I am just wondering how much it runs because I like to be responsible with money. If the costs of insurance make up the savings in gas then it is not worth getting one.
