1992 honda wont start, Battery is good, only emergency lights work.?
I own a 1992 honda civic that has been fully operational until a few days ago. I went out to start it but nothing turns on, none of the electrical components work. The only thing that will turn on are the emergency lights. The battery is new and charged.
The headlights do not work , only the emergency flashers. I do not know much about cars, where might the ground be located. Would it be worth it to try and replace the fusible link?
I would of said to check the ground but since the emergency flashers work then I’m guessing the ground is good.Do the headlights come on? if the headlights turn on then you are definitely getting a good ground.I would suspect the ignition switch needs to be replaced the diodes inside are not making a good contact. It never hurts to check your fuses start with the engine fuses first also recheck your battery terminal connections
replace the fusible links on the battery positive side
probably the starter.. do you hear clicking noise?
